Influence of presaturated coconut fibre ash pellets in concrete

چکیده
River sand is becoming increasingly scarce. As a result, an alternative material required to replace river in order save sand. In the construction of quality concrete, artificial aggregate now frequently employed as substitute for Coconut fibre ash (CFA) obtained from prevalent India. Partially replacing (fine aggregate) with presaturated CFA self curing purpose presented paper. Fine aggregates were replaced by 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% volume. The workability strength characteristics concrete are studied. Internal solution today's water scarcity's insufficient curing. During compared other mixtures, test results show that mix produced better when

Strength Characteristics of Glass Fibre on Bottom Ash Based Concrete
Abstract: Bottom ash is a hazardous by-product from coal based thermal power plants. In this study fine aggregate in concrete mix has been replaced with bottom ash and glass fibre is additionally used to enhance the strength characteristics of concrete. The concrete mix design is done for M30 grade concrete. The mix is prepared for different combinations of 0%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 100% of replace...
متن کاملInfluence of High Temperatures on Flexural Strength of Foamed Concrete Containing Fly Ash and Polypropylene Fiber
In this study, the elevated temperature flexural strengths of lightweight foamed concrete (LFC) containing fly ash (FA) and polypropylene fiber (PF) was investigated experimentally and statistically. The variables included were the temperature degrees (in a range of 20 to 600°C), LFC densities of 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 kg/m3 and additive content. Two mixes were made by replacing 15% and ...
متن کاملInfluence of Fibre Content on Crack Propagation Rate in Fibre-Reinforced Concrete Beams
Experimental study on the influence of fibre content on crack behaviour and propagation in synthetic-fibre reinforced beams has been reported in this paper. The tensile behaviour of metallic fibre concrete is evaluated in terms of residual flexural tensile strength values determined from the load-crack mouth opening displacement curve or load-deflection curve obtained by applying a centre-point...
متن کاملStrength and behaviour of Fly Ash based Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete Composite
This experimental investigation is to study the effects of replacement of cement (by weight) with five percentage of fly ash and the effects of addition of steel fiber composite. A control mixture of proportions 1:1:49:1.79 with w/c of 0.45 was designed. Cement was replaced with five percentages (10%, 15%, 20%, 25% & 30%) of Class C fly ash. Four percentages of steel fibers (0.15%, 0.30%, 0.45%...
متن کاملGlass Fibre Reinforced Concrete
Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete is recent introduction in the field of concrete technology. The present day world is witnessing the construction of very challenging and difficult Civil Engineering Structures. Concrete being the most important and widely used material is called upon to possess very high strength and sufficient workability properties. Concrete the most widely used consrtuction ma...
